5:54 a.m.: Thanks for the advice. Police recorded part of 15th SW in South Delridge. They are investigating a reported fatal shooting in block 9200, between Cambridge and Barton [vicinity map], just after 3 a.m. More information soon.
06:09: Police said the victim, a 41-year-old man, was found “lying on the road”. The SPD and SFD tried to revive him but could not. No one is in custody, and there is no word of a suspicious description. They surveyed the area to see if anyone picked up anything on the security video. 6:36 a.m.: Detectives are still on the scene. It comes exactly a month after the last deadly West Seattle shooting of a 20-year-old Ka’Don Brownfound dead in the southwest alley of the Chief Sealth IHS campus on April 8, a Saturday morning. No arrests have been reported in this case so far.
