Major Allen was present at Edwards Air Force Base in California when the United States Air Force first detected Iron Man. He ordered two F-22 Raptors to destroy Iron Man, mistaking him for an unmanned aerial vehicle. Allen was also present when James Rhodes delivered the Iron Man: Mark II armor to Edwards and Justin Hammer weaponized it.

Wilson was nearly killed as he approached the basement bedroom steps, a bullet hitting the wall inches from his body. Lewis, on the other hand, was rebuffed, refusing to accept that the situation was good and seeing himself as a danger to his father.

He appeared as Ben Matheson, Charlie and Danny’s father in the American post-apocalyptic science fiction television series Revolution. He and Rachel were the first to develop the nano-robot technology that caused the blackout, which was later studied and developed by other scientists such as Grace, John, and others. Originally intended as a source of cheap green energy, the failure of the project had the unintended consequence of suppressing all electronic activity within a given radius.
Ben was able to warn his family in Chicago and his brother Miles moments before the blackout happened as the nano-robots spun out of control after the US Department of Defense deployed them to a conflict zone. He was murdered in the first episode by Monroe’s militia fifteen years later, and shortly before his death he sent his daughter to find her brother Miles in Chicago to help find and save Danny. Throughout the first season, Ben’s previous involvement in the story is revealed.
