Khloe Kardashian paid tribute to her late father with her son’s name
Khloe Kardashian has paid tribute to her late father Robert Kardashian.
The name of the reality TV star and son of Tristan Thompson has finally been made public.
A source confirmed,
“There was discussion about whether it should be Tatum Robert or whether it should be Robert Tatum,”
“Some family members leaned more towards Robert, as it honors his father and brother, [Rob Kardashian].”
Khloe’s father, Robert, who was a famous lawyer, died of cancer in 2003.
Khloe’s mother Kris wanted the couple to think of a name for their son but it took the founder of Good American’a little time to settle in [it].”
The insider explained,
“Khloé wanted a name that was a bit unusual but not too extravagant and in keeping with the T theme”,
In the September 2022 episode of Kardashians’ Khloe confirmed her son’s name was “will start with a T.
The now exes welcomed their son via surrogate in August 2022, four years after Khloe gave birth to their daughter, True.
They welcomed their baby girl in April 2018, and Kardashian made sure her daughter was given a name with family ties.
The KUWTK star wrote on her app in May 2018,
“I knew I wanted my baby to have an initial ‘T’, so one night while we were all having dinner, thinking of some names, my grandma MJ suggested True,”
“She told me it was my great-grandfather’s first name and my grandfather’s middle name,”
The reality star explained: “[It] was the only one I couldn’t get out of my head.

Tristan fathered a child with another woman while expecting his second child with Khloe
A year after True’s birth, Khloe and Tristan split amid an infidelity scandal. They did, however, come together during the coronavirus pandemic. After their reconciliation, they began planning for their second child.
In an April 2021 episode of her show, Khloe told the NBA player, 32,
“I could have embryos and have a brother [for True]”,
“I might need to borrow some sperm or get some from you.”
He replied that he was ‘‘on board.”
In November 2021, they conceived a son via surrogate, but the happy news was covered by news about Tristan’s infidelity a month later.
The athlete cheated on Khloe by fathering a son with Maralee Nichols. He initially denied it but admitted to being Theo’s father in a January post.
Khloé and Tristan’s baby news broke in July.
A source said at the time,
“Khloé is incredibly grateful to the amazing surrogate for such a beautiful blessing,”
However, sources have confirmed that Khloe and Tristan won’t be recovering anytime soon.
They explained,
“Khloé and Tristan already had the baby in the works when the scandal broke,”
“At that point, Khloé was like, ‘I’m going to do it myself.'”
