Turner is a perfect representation of the dynamic available in fantasy at the shortstop position. Power, speed – Turner has had it in abundance and delivered it throughout his career, but he’s not alone. Bo Bichette, Bobby Witt Jr, Fernando Tatis Jr, Marcus Semien, Francisco Lindor, Corey Seager – these are all shortstops who can fill starting spots in your fantasy lineups with league-winning productions in 2023.

But shortstop is a relatively deep position even for the 2023 season, full of players who can hit double-digit homers and, most importantly, stolen bases. Sure, many of the names lower in our rankings might not be the superstars like the names mentioned earlier, but they can still offer fantastic managers. boys like Dansby Swanson, Oneil Cruz, Tim Anderson, Willy Adames and Andres Gimenez can all deliver fantastic quality productions at shortstop.

You can also go lower. Baltimore Orioles rookie Gunnar Henderson is eligible for both 3B and SS and big things are expected from his end. teenagers Jeremy Pena and Tommy Edman both had championship moments in 2022.

And who knows, maybe Adalberto Mondesi — now with the Boston Red Sox — is finally achieving the enticing potential that has made him a high draft pick in the past.
