And the next great lady on the bachelorette is… Charity Lawson.
The 27-year-old child and family therapist learned she would be taking on the role on Tuesday night’s ‘The Women Tell All’ show. The single person.
Host Jesse Palmer shared the news with a tearful Lawson at the end of the two-hour episode.
Palmer told him he wanted to play “This or That?” for the show’s social media channels. Her last question to Lawson was whether she prefers the bachelorette Or Bachelor in Paradise.

Palmer took a long break, leading Lawson to believe she had made the wrong call. He then told her, “I’m glad you said that, because Charity, I want you to be our next Bachelorette.”
“I am the bachelor! ” she says. “Like, I can’t even say this without crying, screaming, but I’m the next Bachelorette.”
“Is this real? No way, I’m totally going to cry,” she added.
The Columbus, Georgia native received the good news after The single person Season 27 lead Zach Shallcross dropped her after hometown visits.
“I can’t give you the love you deserve,” Shallcross told Lawson. She appeared caught off guard after admitting, “I am falling in love. Honestly, I’m falling in love.
But Shallcross knocked out Lawson and she left in tears.
After learning, she will direct the upcoming 20th season of The single person spin-off, Charity said it was a dream come true.
“I always wanted to find the love of my life,” she explained. “I am speechless.”
