Nvidia will prepare two massive graphics cards with 4 slots and up to 800 W

While gamers have been waiting for more affordable cards with RTX 50 and RTX 60 versions of the Ada Lovelace architecture, it’s a standout graphics card in contrast that’s making headlines again: the GeForce RTX 4090 Ti.

It is Kopite7kimi who strikes again by announcing the specs of the GeForce RTX 4090 Ti. The GPU will be used by the GeForce RTX 4090, but with a few more units: +11% Cuda units and +33% L2 cache. The amount of memory remains unchanged, with 24 GB of GDDR6x interfaced on a 384-bit bus, and a speed that will reach 24 Gb/s instead of 21 Gb/s.

It is on the side of the energy envelope that the card proves to be much better. We’re talking about 600 W of total envelope, which is the limit for Nvidia’s 16-pin connector. The GeForce RTX 4090 is content with 450 W by default, with the potential to push its envelope to 600 W if necessary.

The return of the GeForce Titan?

There was also talk of another model, the GeForce Titan. Thus appeared pictures of a model with a light golden hull and occupied 4 slots. The GeForce Titan will come with similar specs to the GeForce RTX 4090 Ti, with no less than 48GB of GDDR6x video memory. A double 16-pin power connector is mentioned to power the beast, whose thermal envelope will reach 800W.
