Ruth Kadiri avoids LP gubernatorial candidate and backs Funke Akindele

• It is not news that Ruth has been in the running for Labour’s Peter Obi, for the presidential candidate in the 2023 election.

• The actress shunned the Labor gubernatorial candidate and opted to support fellow actress Funke Akindele, who is running for governor on a different political platform.

Actress Ruth Kadiri has endorsed Funke Akindele for the post of Deputy Governor of Lagos under the PDP umbrella.

The actress took to her Instagram page to explain her reasons for supporting the actress-turned-politician.

It is not news that Ruth has been in the running for Labour’s Peter Obi, for the presidential candidate in the 2023 election.

Nonetheless, it appears the actress has shunned the Labor Party’s gubernatorial candidate and opted to support fellow actress Funke Akindele, who is running for governor on a different political platform.

She called Funke hardworking, tough, emotional, etc.

She wrote: It’s election season! And @funkejenifaakindele is my candidate.
