Family ties between Harry and Meghan and the rest of the Royal Family have been strained since the couple left the UK. The coronation invitation, in particular, was such a hot topic due to the recent publication of Harry’s memoir, Spare.

In ‘Spare’, the Duke wrote about his interactions and relationship with his father, King Charles III, and brother, Prince William. He also made several heavy-handed remarks about his mother-in-law, Queen Consort Camilla, which was a line he allegedly crossed and the king needed to address.

Shortly after the memoir was published, the King’s office issued Harry and Meghan an eviction notice from Frogmore Cottage, their home in the UK. With the deportation, any future visit to Britain may require the couple to find private accommodation and safety elsewhere.
