Additionally, he was also the lead singer of the band Escape the Fate until they broke up. In 2014 he released a rap mixtape called Watch Me which featured songs he did with Craig Mabbitt, Deuce, Tyler Carter, Jacoby Shaddix and Danny Worsnop.

Additionally, Radke developed his keyboard and guitar skills in his early bands while still in high school. Later, he met Max Green (of the band Almost Heroes), and the two founded the band True Story. Additionally, this group released a demo which included the song “This is on the End”. Inspired by Thrice, he started shouting in the band, moved on to vocals, and eventually formed Escape the Fate.
