The lovers meet on ABC shows The Bachelor and The Bachelorette, date and get married. But unfortunately, few of them continue their married life for long. Most break up and divorce. But among the few who are still together, Rachel Lindsay and Bryan Abasolo are part of these couples. Know their romantic journey from the days of the show until now.
Rachel Lindsay: lawyer on reality TV
The talented and gorgeous Rachel Lindsay, 38, was born in Dallas, Texas, USA. Her father is Federal Judge Sam Lindsay and her mother Kathy is a beauty consultant. She has an older brother, a sister Constance and also a younger sister named Heather. Rachel studied law at Marquette University, Milwaukee, Wisconsin. She started practicing in 2011.
Besides her legal and media work, Rachel was a candidate for Nick Viall’s bachelor’s degree. He gave her the first rosy impression. But he couldn’t seduce her enough to form a couple.

And in 2017, she became the lead on The Bachelorette TV show. The show had a diverse cast of contestants. In the end, Rachel chose Bryan Abasolo over Peter Krause, another contestant.
Rachel and Bryan Abasolo: their love journey
After casting Bryan as her life partner over Peter Krause on TV, Rachel pursued him in real life as well. Bryan was a chiropractor from Miami. He moved to Dallas for Rachel. Here they got engaged. Later in 2019, the couple moved to Miami.
The couple married in August 2019. The wedding was not televised and took place in Cancun, Mexico. Michael Russo, their wedding planner, told People:
“Rachel was the epitome of elegance and grace as she walked down the aisle towards Bryan. The ceremony was filled with so much joy, love and laughter,”
“As they exchanged their personal handwritten vows, you could feel the unbridled emotion and the powerful bond between them.”

The couple tried to have children, but the process was not easy for them. Later, in January 2022, Rachel revealed that they were talking to doctors about IVF. But they felt the process was not as simple as they had imagined.
However, they still have the same feelings of love and respect for each other. Their relationship grows stronger.
Where is the couple now?
Rachel started her work for Extra as a correspondent in 2019. And since August 2020, she is a full-time correspondent for them. Bryan is the host of the Dr. Abs Healthcast podcast. Rachel now resides in Los Angeles. She revealed on Bryan’s podcast:
“I didn’t move to LA because I love the city,”
“You focus on your practice and build it to where you want it to be, and I’m here in LA working for Extra and doing other things, and we’re doing this to finally come together.”

Rachel has written a number of books including Miss Me With That: Hot Takes, Helpful Tidbits and Few Hard Truths. After their engagement, Bryan told People:
“I saw this woman and thought we would make a good match. I didn’t know how awesome it would be until I got there, but I’m telling you, it was basically a climb from the first night,”
“It got better and better and it still does. I mean, I keep falling in love with this woman more and more every day.
Rachel agreed and said:
“Bryan is like my best friend, the way I can’t imagine him in my life.”
