Career
Since childhood, he has been heavily influenced by electronic and synthesizer music, with Depeche Mode, Alphaville or Everything But the Girl being his main playlist. By age 15, he had formed his first band, The Bronx Avenue. Bronx Avenue performed all over Slovakia in several live shows.
After 3 years, he forms the group MM Flames with Maros Maske. It was the love of house music that brought the two together. They became permanent residents of Bratislava’s most famous house music club, Bokashio.
The two played live every Friday. In 1993, MM Flames was considered the number one house music group in Slovakia. After this success, Michael left for a long time in Israel. This ultimately led to the band splitting up.
MM Flames reunited in 1997 when they formed a side project called Heaven Street Seven. They were signed by BMG Ariola, Slovakia, and released their first singles “Get Me” and “Like a Rain”. Both songs became dance hits on Slovak radio and in clubs. In 2003 the band released a special “Bottom Line Amsterdam” demo CD. He toured successfully in Slovak clubs and collaborated with other musicians and singers.
In 2004, the two members decided to go their separate ways. Michael took a break from composing music for 4 years. During this time he performed as a DJ under his own label “House of Pressburg” or “DJev”. In 2008 Michael decided to return to composing as a solo artist.
