Madelyn began her career at age ten and in fifth grade as a model. Every summer, her mother would take her to New York to book modeling jobs for department stores, magazines, and catalogs. Eventually, Cline appeared on television and in print advertisements for different companies, including Toys R, Us, Mattel, Sunny D, Next, Hatkoff Department Stores, Elidel Pharmaceuticals, and T-Mobile.
In 2011, Cline appeared in a small role in a film titled 23rd Psalm: Redemption portraying Maya Smith. Five years later, Madelyn has had many television and film roles, including Grace Alexander on The Jury, Willow on Savannah Sunrise, and Taylor Watts on Vice Principals.
In 2020, she returned to her hometown of South Carolina to play a lead role in a TV show as Sarah Cameron in the Netflix teen drama series Outer Banks.
Additionally, the same year, she appeared in a music video titled Kygo’s Hot Stuff with Donna Summer. Starting in 2022, Cline is filming the third season of Outer Banks. She will also appear in Glass Onion: A Knives Out Mystery, an upcoming American crime film still in production.
