A source told MailOnline at the time that the partnership, which saw Ekin-Su launch her first ever collection last October followed by a massive launch party, was ‘not working out’ and the star’s range of Dancing On Ice was struggling to please Oh Polly’s customer. base.

“Ekin-Su and Oh Polly have split up,” an insider revealed.

“It’s complicated right now, and Ekin-Su won’t publicly comment on the end of her working relationship with the brand, but there won’t be any further collaborations.”

A bidding war ensued for Ekin, who won the Love Island vote by a landslide, with several brands keen to monetize his stay at the villa.

PrettyLittleThing signed runners-up Gemma Owen and Indiyah Polak while Tasha Ghouri became brand ambassador for Love Island sponsor eBay.

In August, Ekin agreed a £1million deal with Oh Polly, which became “the biggest clothing deal in Love Island history”.

She released a collection with the brand and celebrated her deal with a huge party at London’s One Marylebone attended by Sam Thompson, Zara McDermott, Antigoni Buxton and many other Love Island co-stars.

After amassing more than 3.2 million Instagram followers, Ekin has also signed partnerships with B beauty brands Perfect Cosmetics and Beauty Works, in addition to becoming the 2022 series islander to star in Dancing On Ice.

Ekin became the third contestant to be kicked out of the ITV show after sparking controversy with her debut performance.

The Turkish reality star shocked viewers with her seductive take on Britney Spears’ Toxic track, where she recreated her famous villa moment by crawling on her hands and knees on the terrace, while wearing a see-through outfit with rhinestones.

Over 100 fans complained to OfCom, with Judge Oti Mabuse later defending Ekin and a woman’s right to be sexy.

MailOnline has contacted a spokesperson for Ekin-Su and Oh Polly for a comment.

Despite the pressures on their relationship as the winning couple on Love Island last year, Ekin-Su and Davide have defied the odds and are going from strength to strength.

In an interview to celebrate Valentine’s Day, Ekin-Su explained that their fans often doubt the authenticity of their romance if they forget to post on social media, but they prefer to keep some things private.

She told Fabulous magazine: “Our relationship is between two people, not the world. We don’t need to prove to anyone that we are real.

“I believe the less you show on social media, the healthier the relationship.”
