Kevin Hart and BET Reboot Star-Studded ‘Comic View’ Franchise

Kevin Hart has teamed up with BET for a comic view reboot with comic book veterans Mike Epps, Tommy Davidson and newcomer Tip “TI” Harris.

The revival was filmed over the weekend at Hart’s 44th birthday celebration in Las Vegas.

In living color Alum Tommy Davidson was among the artists taking the stage and shared details in a tweet on July 9.

“Thank you @KevinHart4real for headlining me on tonight’s #ComicView revival show with the @BET air date to be announced soon,” Davidson writing on Twitter.

Rapper TI, who ventured into comedy last year, has also performed according to BET.com. The outlet said comedian and actor Mike Epps hosted the event, which included appearances from DC Young Fly, Bresha Webb and Taccara Williams.

The stand-up comedy franchise provided a national platform for up-and-coming comics and was hosted by Kevin Hart, DL Hughley, Cedric the Entertainer, Sommore, Don’ DC Curry, Rickey Smiley, Sheryl Underwood and other familiar faces.
