Jojo Siwa fans didn’t appreciate her repeated posts in which she joked about being pregnant.
The 19-year-old social media star – who appeared to claim recently that Nickelodeon reacted badly to her coming out – left her followers scratching their heads after sharing several photos and videos throughout March that seemed to suggest that ‘she was pregnant.
But she also shut down the pregnancy rumors, saying her posts were just meant to be harmless jokes.
Several fans have found the ongoing series of posts “extremely disrespectful and insensitive”, although Jojo has yet to appear to have responded to the fan backlash.
However, she apparently ended all pregnancy talk in a March 27 Snapchat story, in which she clarified that she didn’t plan on having children until later in life, via Insider.

Joke posts about Jojo’s pregnancy began this month, although several fans noted that she had apparently been single since December, when she broke up with TikTok star Avery Cyrus.
Earlier in March, Jojo posted a Snapchat photo in which she pulled up her hoodie and put her hands on her stomach, captioning the misleading photo, “Can’t believe it.”
She followed up with a photo of herself appearing to shop for baby clothes, though the posts have since disappeared.
Some fans were shocked by the posts, while others realized they were probably just jokes.
Although some of her followers feared she was too young to carry a child, more reasonable posters acknowledged that the dancer was more likely pregnant with a “food baby”.
Jojo then shared a TikTok video addressing the concerns.
Although she didn’t say a word, she reposted a video of someone fearing she was pregnant, before cutting off with her new clip and starting to laugh, as if the original post was ridiculous.
But Jojo continued to tease her fans. She returned with another post later in March in which she held her stomach and wrote, “TEAM BOY OR TEAM GIRL,” according to Insider.

“It’s not the social norm how I will end up having children one day,” she said.
“Biologically, to have children, you need a man and a woman, and children look at that, so I’m not going to talk about how babies are made, but babies are made with men and women,” she continued, adding, “There will never be that significant other man in my life.
Then she said she was more likely to seek sperm donation in the future when she had a partner or could adopt.
However, those options were still “far off” for her.
“I accepted that the universe wanted me to be single right now,” she said.
Despite the multiple clarifications, fans still found her pregnancy jokes tasteless. ‘Does anyone else think it’s extremely disrespectful and insensitive for Jojo Siwa to pretend to be pregnant?????’ wrote one person on Twitter.
