Elle Fanning and Max Minghella are no longer a romantic couple! The great actress, 24, spoke openly about her current relationship status during an interview with Harper’s Bazaar United Kingdompublished on Tuesday, April 4.
Despite her most recent heartbreak, Fanning said she hasn’t given up on love yet. She told the magazine,
“I am a hopeless romantic. I believe in love at first sight. Call me crazy, but I believe in these things. I feel it is my destiny.

She and Max started dating after they first met on the set of their 2018 film “Teen Spirit.” In the Minghella-directed film, Fanning portrays Purplea Polish teenager who dreams of becoming a pop star.
The former sparked dating rumors when they were spotted holding hands in Florence, Italy. Later that summer, photos of the pair sharing a kiss in Minghella’s native London surfaced, confirming their relationship.
The pair prefer to keep their romance private, but Fanning couldn’t help but open up about Minghella in April 2019, telling Entertainment Tonight he’s “such a great friend.”
After that, they made their red carpet debut at the 2019 Met Gala, where they posed for a photo together. Fanning and Minghella stepped out again in December for the Los Angeles premiere of Babylon.
Minghella starred in the film alongside Brad Pitt and Margot Robbie.
The allegedly estranged couple are 12 years apart in age.
