Kate Chastain is now officially a mom
Kate Chastain, who announced her pregnancy in December 2022, gave birth to her first child, a baby boy. The Under Deck, 40, took to Instagram on Friday, May 5, to share the exciting news that her bundle of joy has arrived.
She shared a sweet photo of herself hugging her little one while revealing her name, “Hard Launch: Sullivan Cay.”
As soon as she announced the arrival of her child, many were quick to flood the comments section with congratulatory messages.
The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills Garcelle Beauvais expressed her excitement writing,
“Awww congratulations,”

THE traitors co-star Ryan Lochte added,
“Too happy for you.”
Well, the baby arrived five months after Chastain announced her pregnancy in December 2022.
Kate Chastain is a single mother
Kate has yet to go public with the father of her child. In January 2023, she revealed her choice to be a single mother for her child during her appearance on an episode of Page Six Virtual Reali-Tea podcast.
She says,
“I am fiercely independent. I don’t really like people’s opinions being different from mine and trying to get me to go their way. So I’m really so excited to be able to do this exactly the way I want.
Likewise, the new mother earlier said she plans to raise her child on her own when appearing on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen.
“I do it solo and maybe with help, but I’m happy to do it alone. I think being a chief stew really trained me for that.
