Stefano and James’ sin-themed wedding
On the 1st week of April 2023, Stefano, 39, a software engineering manager, and James, 32, a technical clothing designer, got married in Italy.
The couple married in Stefano’s family’s 13th century villa.
The couple reclaimed and celebrated the concept of the sin of same-sex marriage. They chose sin as the theme to celebrate their day of joyful indulgence.
Stefano says,
“Kissing the word felt like a small act of rebellion against the idea that a same-sex relationship is a sin. Each of the Seven Deadly Sins turned into an opportunity for fun and celebration. ❤️

“We were particularly inspired by a textile design by William Kilburn, an Irish illustrator from the 1700s. It’s floral and pretty, but there’s something dark and sinister about it.
The couple’s big day was attended by 50 guests, including friends and family. Jacques says,
“I loved seeing people from different parts of our lives come together for us. I couldn’t help but feel all the love and support from the group.
Marc Jacobs’ gay marriage to Char Defrancesco
Marc Jacobs is openly gay and walked down the aisle with longtime partner Char Defrancesco on April 6, 2019 in New York City. Marc had proposed to Char at the Chipotle restaurant on Defrancesco’s birthday in 2018.
Jacobs posted photos from their wedding on Instagram and wrote,
