Great crew will not return to NBC.

The comedy series has been canceled after two seasons, the network announced in a press release on Friday.

The sitcom followed friends Noah, Nicky, Sherm, Anthony, Wyatt and Fay as they navigated the ups and downs of life and love, while unboxing it all at their favorite wine bar.

The main cast included Echo Kellum, Nicole Byer, Aaron Jennings, Justin Cunningham, Carl Tart and Grasie Mercedes.

The Season 2 finale aired on April 28, featuring a two-episode back-to-back event.

The final episodes saw Noah (Echo Kellum) turn his diary into a manuscript titled “A Hopeless Romantic…and the Friends Who Gave Him Hope.” Wyatt (Justin Cunningham) and Kristen (Maya Lynn Robinson) have settled into life as guardians of his niece-cousin Nadine. Anthony (Aaron Jennings) was unemployed and surprisingly happy, and Sherm (Carl Tart) accepted an apprenticeship as a sommelier at a wine school in France.

The sitcom of Phil Augusta Jackson (screenwriter, producer and director of Brooklyn nine-nine) and Dan Goor (creator of Brooklyn nine-nine) premiered in December 2021 and ran for 20 episodes.

The series was produced by Universal Television, a division of Universal Studio Group.

NBC also canceled Young Rock Friday. No decision has been made on American car.

The network has ordered a new comedy series St. Denis Medical about an underfunded and understaffed Oregon hospital. David Alan Grier stars alongside Wendi McClendon-Covey, Allison Tolman, Josh Lawson, Mekki Leeper and Kahyun Kim.
