Ghanaian bride faints after seeing Joe Mettle at her wedding reception

When she saw award-winning Ghanaian gospel musician Joe Mettle at her wedding reception, a Ghanaian bride who is clearly a big fan of the gospel musician briefly blacked out.

Joe Mettle was reportedly invited by the groom and his team to the wedding reception without the knowledge of the bride and his team to perform pieces from his extensive discography for his wife and guests.

In general, it worked well, as evidenced by the image blogger shared by @Sonia. The bride, a Ghanaian doctor working in the United States as Dr Achiaa, after spotting Joe Mettle, briefly fainted.

When she finally ‘absorbed’ what was happening, she quickly kept her composure and hugged David Antwi, her newly married husband who prepared the surprise package as they continued to dance wildly.

Shortly after the wedding concert, Joe Mettle and his crew traveled to the United States of America as part of his North American tour.

Joe Mettle made history on April 8, 2017, when he became the first Gospel artist in Ghana to win the prestigious Artist of the Year award at the Vodafone Ghana Music Awards (VGMA) 2017.

He has performed on international stages with international gospel artists like Donnie McClurkin, Nathaniel Bassey, Ntokozo Mbambo, Michael Stuckey and many more. He has received numerous awards in Ghana and elsewhere. Selassie Mettle, formerly Dzisa, is his wife.
