In 2011, Juliet alleged that her colleagues had sexually harassed her. She had named longtime Fox News Channel host Bill O’Reilly and Fox News co-chairman Jack Abernethy in her written allegation to the network. Moreover, Juliet had stated that Bill had, on several occasions, made a proposal to her. When she had gone to his house, he had tried to kiss her. Later, he had made repeated inappropriate phone calls to her. The Lawnewz.com website wrote:
“In the letter, Huddy said that when she refused to comply with O’Reilly’s advances, she was kicked off the show despite having ‘one of the highest rated segments'”
Her chain letter added that Bill had tried to derail her career when she refused his advances.
And Jack used to call her again and again at her office for no official reason. And we learned in 2017 that the Fox News network had quietly settled the case. The terms of payment remain unknown to the public.
An insider, however, revealed that she got six-figure compensation. Although the company and the two defendants called Juliette’s allegations false, the media investigation revealed that they were genuine.
