Since Wednesday, a new video from “Project Veritas” has been widely circulating on social networks. On Twitter, she has been liked over 134,000 times and retweeted 70,000 times as of this writing. According to the founder of “Project Veritas”, the video is now one of the most viewed videos on his site.
The image gives the impression of a hidden camera. The person filmed will be called Jordan Trishton Walker and he is the director of research and development at Pfizer. The atmosphere is intimate and it is time for confession. The alleged employee of Pfizer admitted during the discussion that the company is in the process of creating a mutation of Kovid-19. “Don’t tell anyone, you have to promise me that you won’t tell anyone,” said the man. It is not said for the public”.
During the discussion, Jordan Trishton Walker also explains the purpose of this mutation. The idea would be for Pfizer to create new viruses to eventually be able to develop new vaccines. The alleged employee also recounts the danger behind: letting the virus escape the lab. “I suspect that’s what happened in Wuhan,” he finally admits.
To understand what this confession is, 20 minutes Lets take stock of this video through four questions.
fake off
- Is this person really an employee of Pfizer?
Through a Google search, we try to locate Jordan Trishton Walker, who will be working at Pfizer. But no event shows up on search engines nor on LinkedIn professionals network. We also try to search on yahoo search engine. This time, bingo, “Jordan Walker Employee at Pfizer” appears. But his account has been deleted and is no longer visible.
Jordan Walker’s profile can also be found on the SignalHire site – which references professional contact details. The information is taken from his LinkedIn profile, which no longer exists. He will be the director of research and development with Pfizer for about one-and-a-half years. Earlier, the man worked as a consultant in BCG firm. For example, we find an article dated May 2020 signed by Jordan Walker. Its title was: “Short-term prospects for therapeutics against COVID-19”.
In addition, James O’Keefe, the founder of “Project Veritas”, shared elements of Jordan Walker on his Twitter account. He posts screenshots of internal organization charts on the Teams platform. We look specifically to Albert Bourla and Mikael Dolsten, respectively managing director and president of research and medical development at Pfizer. Several names of Jordan Walker’s possible collaborators have also been mentioned: Alison Blum, Colin Bond, Efrain Sarmano, Eileen Elliott or even Nina So. Everyone appears to have LinkedIn profiles and actually works at Pfizer.
Jordan Walker’s digital presence therefore remains very mysterious and it is difficult to know his actual activity at Pfizer. Either the man actually works at Pfizer but remains very secretive, or his full identity is made up. We have reached out to Pfizer about this and have not yet heard back.
- What? , project veritas , ,
Project Veritas was founded in the late 2000s by James O’Keefe. The Conspiracy Watch site states that from a YouTube channel, it became a non-governmental organization in 2010. Still according to the Conspiracy Observatory, “Project Veritas” adheres to ultra-conservative American ideologies.
“Today, ‘Project Veritas’ investigates and exposes corruption, dishonesty, personal dealings, waste, fraud and other misconduct in public and private institutions in order to achieve a more ethical and transparent society,” states the “Project Veritas” website. Among its investors, we find the conservative association Donors Trust, but also Donald Trump.
- Is this video the first one?
This is not the first video of its kind published by “Project Veritas”. In October 2021, on the YouTube channel, “Project Veritas” published a ten-minute video showing three Pfizer employees. Still filmed with a hidden camera, so-called scientists supported speeches that were very critical of vaccines against Covid-19, which would be less and less effective against the disease. He also criticizes his company for placing financial values above ethics.
As our colleagues at Liberation’s fact-checking cell, Czech News, revealed at the time, the video was part of a series called “Expose”. As of October 2021, it consisted of a total of five videos. The pattern is similar: Pfizer employees criticize their company without their knowledge. Each video claims to uncover an overwhelming revelation that fuels conspiracy theories: the creation of a virus, the ineffectiveness of vaccines or evidence on natural immunity.
- What do we know about virus mutations?
The latest video published by “Project Veritas” this time is related to the mutation of the virus. Jordan Walker believes that it is Pfizer who wants to create this mutation in order to develop new vaccines. A dangerous practice, according to the secretly filmed employee, that would allow some viruses to escape. “I doubt what happened in Wuhan,” he re-admits.
A theory born in the early hours of Covid-19. According to several rumours, COVID-19 may have been created in a laboratory in Wuhan. In an article published in June 2021 in the journal Nature, scientists questioned the known and unknown about this leak from a laboratory. They explain that most scientists choose its natural origin, transmitted from animals to humans. But he says the virus’s characteristics challenged scientists because they were used by researchers during genetic manipulation. Neither of the two theses has been disproved till date. However, the involvement of the Pfizer company has never been demonstrated.
What’s more, the experience described by the alleged employee has been called a “benefit at work.” It is the practice of genetically modifying viruses to make them either more transmissible or more virulent. According to an article in the journal Quebec Science, the research remains very controversial. Some researchers believe that this will make it possible to understand the emergence of new pathogens and therefore to better prepare for them. Others feel it is too big a risk and not very safe. However, these practices remain highly regulated.
