According to court documents, the defendants were part of a mob that illegally clashed with law enforcement officers on the west facade of the Capitol Building. Isaac Thomas used a mast to attack officers and was recorded by Christina Legros. The defendants entered the Capitol through the Senate wing door and marched to the house side of the building before ascending to the second floor. Isaac Thomas recorded a video message in the Speaker’s office, calling on people to “take back their country.” The defendants then moved to a hall outside the old Senate Chamber where Thomas again clashed with officers. The two defendants left the Capitol building separately.
