Who is Robert De Niro’s girlfriend, Tiffany Chen?
Robert De Niro shocked the world when he announced the arrival of his seventh child and that the mother was his girlfriend Tiffany Chen.
Since then, many want to know more about the martial arts instructor who is dating the Taxi driver featured for a few years now.
Just two months before welcoming the baby, De Niro and his pregnant girlfriend went out for dinner on the town.
After meeting on the set of Trainee in 2015, they both started dating in 2021. However, they have kept their relationship out of the public eye most of the time.
Before having a romantic relationship with Chen, the actor became the father of two children each with Diahnne Abbott, Toukie Smith and Grace Hightower.
The Oscar winner adopted his wife Abbott’s daughter, Drena, in 1976. They welcomed their son Raphael the same year.
In 1995 he welcomed twin sons Aaron and Julian with Smith and son Elliot and daughter Helen with Hightower in 1998 and 2011, respectively.

Tiffany’s career and personal life
Chen is a martial arts instructor by profession and was inducted into Inside Kung-Fu magazine’s Hall of Fame as Competitor of the Year when she was just 26 in 1994.
Referring to her father William Chen, she said at the time,
“My plan has always been to learn to be as good as my father,”
As previously mentioned, Chen met the actor while working on the set of The Intern with Anne Hathaway in 2015.
Chen had a minor role where she played the character of Ben, the character of Robert, to train outside.
At the time, Robert was married to Hightower whom he divorced in 2018 after more than two decades of marriage.
Chen and De Niro first sparked dating rumors in August 2021. They were holding hands at a French vacation spot. They were also spotted kissing on a yacht on the same trip.
In May 2023, the father-of-six excitedly revealed that he had welcomed his seventh child. When asked if he was surprised by the baby at this point, he flatly said NO.
He added,
“How could you not plan this kind of thing?”
A few days after the birth, Tiffany was seen strolling the streets of New York with her baby.
