Elijah Wood reveals he is now a father of two
Elijah Wood left fans stunned after revealing that he and his wife Mette-Marie Kongsved have two children.
In a recent interview with WSJ. Magazine, the Lord of the Rings alum gives insight into his personal life. Wood mentioned his secret child for the first time before giving insight into his morning routine.
He started,
“[We have a] three year old son [Evan] and a 14 month old daughter, and she wakes us up pretty early, I like to get up early, I like to start the day.
Meanwhile, Elijah and his wife secretly welcomed their second child some time ago.
However, the actor did not give further details about their second child, but it was confirmed that they have added a daughter to their family, who was born around January 2022.

He said on the way out,
“I wanted to be able to share photos that I didn’t necessarily want to share with the world. A publicly accessible account would really change what I share. It’s not like I’m sharing anything that I wouldn’t want out, but I’m a relatively private person.”
How long have Elijah Wood and Mette-Marie Kongsved been together?
The two are thought to have first met in April 2016 on the set of Netflix Don’t feel at home in this world anymorewhich Mette-Marie produced and in which Elijah starred.
Wood and Kongsved confirmed their relationship in 2018 after they were spotted holding hands in Pasadena, Calif.

They only revealed the birth of their first child in 2020 during an appearance on “Late Night With Seth Meyers.” At the time, Wood revealed,
“And that night I found out we were pregnant. Christmas Eve.”
Additionally, Elijah was previously married to Pamela Root from 2005 to 2010.
