Hany Moukhtar is now a married man! The German-born footballer, 28, is married to his fiancée Ashley Mukhtar on his 28th birthday.
A few months ago, Hany celebrated his 28th birthday. The wedding ceremony took place on March 21 at Geodis Park Soccer Stadium in Nashville, the same ground where he plays every week.
On Wednesday, May 2, the newlywed couple gushed about their wedding to PEOPLE,
“It was a magical experience to see our cultures collide and share such an intimate moment together,”
Likewise, the couple explained why they chose Geodis Park for their big day. They said,
“Nashville will always hold a special place in our hearts, as the city where our love story began,”
“We were drawn to the intimacy the stadium allowed that nowhere else would have. With the pitch as a blank canvas, we brought our vision to life and created a truly unforgettable atmosphere in the city that brought us together.

The new bride added that she wanted “a fresh, garden feel inside the industrial stadium to soften the space and truly transform it into a timeless wedding venue.” Similarly, the Nashville football stadium is decorated in a neutral color scheme including gold, black and white.
The couple had an intimate ceremony with around 100 guests, including relatives and friends. An attacking midfielder said:
“We chose to exchange our vows in private, and it was a truly unforgettable experience. The moment we first saw each other was magical. It’s a memory we will cherish for a lifetime and a reminder of the love and commitment that we share.
Additionally, the couple revealed that they are excited to expand their family, saying:
“We are thrilled with the many blessings married life will bring. We look forward to starting a family, experiencing all the ups and downs of team life, and walking hand in hand through life.

The bride of the day looked stunning in a hand-beaded dress designed by Olivia Zavozin. The mermaid dress featured long sleeves with a high neckline which she paired with a white closed toe heel.
Zavozin describes the dress as “one of a kind” designed to fit Ashley’s personality and aesthetic and was “molded” to her. While Ashley said,
“Honestly, I could have married Hany in sweatpants and been the happiest girl in the world.”
Additionally, she was also sporting a sparkly clutch in the shape of a soccer ball.
The groom, meanwhile, looked dapper in a black tuxedo. Likewise, he revealed that the lining of his jacket had been adorned with photos of the couple.
