Dolphins’ Tyreek Hill takes playful jab at new teammate Jalen Ramsey on Twitter

Jalen Ramsey seems very happy to be traded to the Miami Dolphins, as does his new teammate, receiver Tyreek Hill.

That’s if Ramsey doesn’t do what he did to Hill in the Pro Bowl earlier this year.

Hill shared a few tweets after it was reported that Ramsey was heading from the Los Angeles Rams to Miami, where he first said, “Practice is going to be crazy now.” These two will definitely face each other in Dolphins practices.

Ramsey was traded for a 2023 third-round pick and tight end Hunter Long from the Dolphins.

Ramsey also tweeted his “MOOD,” which featured a highly publicized concert clip of Lil Yachty. But Hill wanted to give him a sarcastic jab about it.

“If you hit me like you in this flag game we (sic) fight,” Hill said with a smiley face emoji.

The hit Hill is referring to came in the Pro Bowl last season, where the league decided to make it a flag football game instead of a normal padded game. However, Ramsey still had that tackle mentality when Davante Adams, wide of the Las Vegas Raiders, returned the ball to Hill for a touchdown.

The second Hill caught the ball, Ramsey used his shoulder to bounce it out of bounds, but not before Hill crossed the goal line for a touchdown.

“That’s suppose (sic) to be a flag while I get taken down,” Hill tweeted at the time.

Now teammates, Hill and Ramsey are sure to create some great practice competition, but they’ve had their fair share of barbs swapped. In 2018, Hill was playing for the Kansas City Chiefs when Ramsey, playing with the Jacksonville Jaguars, called the receiver a good “return specialist,” according to the Florida Times-Union.

“Ramsey being (sic) has been shooting at me since the comeback pundit comment,” Hill tweeted.

Fortunately, Ramsey didn’t hurt Hill in that game, but all eyes will be on these two in training camp when they first line up as part of the same team.
