The second season of BMF ends with a long-awaited confrontation, a shooting at a strip club and a heartbreaking scene between a father and his son.

After two seasons of dirty dealings on the Starz crime drama, karma and the streets finally catch up with Detective Bryant (Steve Harris).

In an interview with Urban Hollywood 411, Harris said viewers will experience an emotional ride as they watch the season finale, titled “New Beginnings.”

“They’re going to see, at least from my character, they’re going to see a roller coaster of emotions,” Harris said. “They are going to see a showdown with the Flenorys. They will remember [Bryant] is a father first.

Bryant has been trying to dismantle the Black Mafia family since his partner, Detective Lopez (Sean Michael Gloria), was killed last season by Kato (Ajiona Alexus).

In this latest episode, Meech (Demetrius “Lil Meech” Flenory Jr.) and Terry (Da’Vinchi) finally take care of Bryant, B-Mickie, And The sea.

Bryant was assigned a new partner this season, Detective Jin (Kelly Hu), but that created a whole new set of complications.

“When you have a partner like Jin, who is a little nosy, a little nosy, and wants to get in there. That makes it a little more difficult,” Harris said.

Adding to Bryant’s troubles, his teenage son Kevin (Jerel Xavier Alston) makes a terrible decision in the finale and ends up ruining his young life. Harris said filming the scene where he discovers Kevin is in trouble had an emotional impact.

“It was tough. It’s a tough scene to shoot because the young guy who plays Kevin is such a good boy,” Harris explained. “It was just a painful scene, because of what had to happen. So for me, it was a flow of emotions, because you would never want to be in that situation. Never!”

Meech hears about Bryant’s misfortune and uses it as leverage, leading to a long-awaited showdown between the rogue cop and the drug lord.

“It’s a great moment. And then that leads to where I also think they can have me on a barrel, but I still have a little something,” Harris said. “And it turns out I don’t have that either… This is where the unraveling begins.”

The cast and crew are already filming Season 3, and Harris said the script was powerful.

“I think people will like where the show is going next season,” he teased.

BMF season 2, episode 10 airs Friday, March 17 at 8:00 p.m. ET/PT on Starz.
