
Apple CEO Tim Cook paid a heartfelt tribute to his “best teacher and friend”, Apple Inc. co-founder Steve Jobs. On Friday, the Apple CEO shared an old photo of the American tech genius to commemorate his 68th birthday. It was the year 2011 when the founder of the apple passed away from pancreatic cancer. Following Jobs’ death, Tim Cook took over as CEO of Apple Inc in August 2011. The current Apple CEO also sits on the board of directors of the American multinational tech company.
“The people with the most to teach live because they have the most to learn – and Steve loved to learn,” Cook wrote on Twitter Friday. “He was the most curious person I have ever met, which made him the best teacher I have ever known. Happy birthday, my friend,” he added. Cook served as the company’s chief operating officer under its co-founder.Before joining Apple, Tim was vice president of enterprise materials for Compaq.
