CARACHI: As Eid ul Adha 2023 approaches, news of upcoming movies are also making waves on social media. And what better way to spend money on a ticket than watching three movies for the price of one? This Eid will bring a series of anthology films to the big screen featuring some of the biggest names in the industry, both in front of and behind the camera! Here’s everything you need to know about the anthology.
The anthology will consist of three short films that will be linked by a common theme or genre. However, each film will have its own plot and characters and will be directed by different directors. In this case we have Nadeem BaigNabeel Qureshi and Marina Khan are each directing their own film in the anthology.
The anthology series releasing on Eid ul Adha 2023 has three different themes and a pretty impressive cast. The first film will be directed by Nadeem Baig and is said to have an intense dramatic plot. Mehwish Hayat and Wahaj Ali, who recently starred in the crime thriller, feature in Baig’s segment of the anthology. Jurm.
The second film will be directed by Marina Khan in her directorial debut and was written by Vasay Chaudhry. The film is said to be romantic with Sheheryar Munawar and Ramsha Khan in the lead roles.
The third installment of the anthology will be directed by Nabeel Qureshi. Qureshi has a long list of films to his name, including Na Maloom Afraad, Khel Khel Mein And Quaid-e-Azam Zindabad. Although this new film is a comedy, what Nabeel Qureshi does best is not his usual comedy. Instead, it’s said to be a horror-comedy starring the husband and wife duo, Hira and Mani.
It’s fair to say that we’re already excited to see what Eid ul Adha 2023 has to offer in terms of entertainment and movies!
